Martin House is the Assistant Director for Library Public Service at Central Piedmont Community College. With over twenty years of library experience, and roughly ten years managing personnel, his professional interest has always centered on better understanding work performance and burnout. A doctoral candidate (ABD) at Northeaster University (Boston) his dissertation topic is “Burnout at North Carolina Community Colleges: How do job resources, job demands, and self-efficacy mediate burnout levels for library employees?”
